Please note that the entry fee to Cowes Classics Week does not include fees for any moorings which you need to arrange for yourself.
This page provides guidance on arranging your mooring and you should additionally read the Cowes Harbour Commission Special Event Terms and Conditions.
As usual, the Cowes Harbourmaster will lay additional moorings in the entrance to the Medina both inside and outside the breakwater. This is an annual feature to provide sufficient moorings for the 800 boats that arrive for Cowes Week and will be used by those keelboats that would normally use these facilities.
The cost for the 5 nights of Cowes Classics Week will be £11.22 per metre for 5 nights of CCW.
The following classes should book their moorings through their Class Association representative:
- Bembridge One Design
- National Swallow
- Solent Sunbeam
The deadline for booking a swinging mooring is Saturday 20 May 2017.
Although the following diagram shows the indicative mooring plan, the actual mooring plan will be drawn after the closing date for entries and made available here on the website for download during June 2017.
With the support of Cowes Harbour Commission Shepards Wharf Marina has again been selected as the official marina for Cowes Classics Week. Boats will be moored together in the North Basin at Shepards Wharf to create an event atmosphere. Please note that boats will be rafted.
For moorings booked and paid for through the Regatta Office, the regatta package price including VAT for 5 nights from Mon 17 July – Fri 21 July 2017 inclusive is £15.30 per metre. The non package price is £3.05 per metre per day. Please note that berths are not guaranteed until payment is received in full.
