We understand that many like to leave it to the last moment to book social events but it makes organisation of events like this really hard for our volunteer team!

We have to estimate the number of visitors expected for each event to ensure sufficient staff cover and food is available.

The Pie Night at Royal Victoria involves the fixed cost of a launch and coach travel all included in the cost of dinner. Many of you asked for this event to be brought back, but to make it viable we need to sell another 25 tickets before the 30th June. The lifeboat will be travelling with the launch on the way to Wootton, no doubt demonstrating some of the crew skills.

Sunday offers a choice of Roast Beef or Paella at the RLYC following a busy day at Cowes Classics Day reviewing the wonderful car display and other attractions. Both menus include a ½ bottle of wine, a cheese board and Mermaid Gin reception.

The Regatta Dinner follows the RYS reception on Thursday evening and is a three course sumptuous dinner with a choice of three main courses and a ½ bottle of fine wine included. This is a dinner where everyone is together on the penultimate day of racing with tales and results to exchange. In past years this event has sold out leaving many disappointed. Please book now to ensure you that you can sit together as a crew!

Although the RYS reception is complimentary to wrist band holders it is still necessary to register for this event. A cash bar will also be open all evening.
We have worked very hard with our catering suppliers and venues to keep prices as low as possible. There has inevitably been increases reflecting not only the increased cost of food but also the significant higher cost of operation due to energy and staff costs. We hope that you will find that the prices this year still represent very good value when compared to alternate venues.
