Cowes Classics Week (the "Event") is organised by the Royal London Yacht Club ("RLYC") who wholly own and control this the Cowes Classics Week website (the "Website"). We are excited to have you register as a user and need you to understand and agree to the following terms of service that apply to your use of the Website including any content, functionality and services offered on or via the Website. The Terms of Service also include our Privacy Policy. We want to keep our relationship with you as lean and informal as possible, but please read the Terms of Service carefully because by using the Website you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service. RLYC reserves the right to update the Website and these Terms of Service from time to time, at our discretion and without notice. 3. Accessing the Website, Security and Privacy
We're working hard on improving Cowes Classics Week, but we can't guarantee that the Website will be up and running 24/7. We also reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to some features to users. In any case, we will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period, nor for any data loss. This Agreement will become effective in relation to you when you create a Cowes Classics Week website account or when you start using the Website and will remain effective until terminated by RLYC or you. RLYC reserves the right to terminate this Agreement or suspend your Website account at any time in case of unauthorized, or suspected unauthorized use whether in contravention of this Agreement or otherwise. If RLYC terminates this Agreement, or suspends your Website account for any of the reasons set out in this section, RLYC shall have no liability or responsibility to you.

6. Intellectual property
RLYC respects intellectual property rights, and expects you to do the same. The Website and the content therein is the property of RLYC or RLYC's licensors and protected by intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright), and you do not have a right to use the Website (including but not limited to its content) in any manner not covered by the Agreement. Furthermore, you must not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights in using the Website. Further, you may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property notices contained on or provided through the Website.

7. Copyright infringement and take down
If you are a copyright holder who believes that any of the products, services or content which are directly available via the Website are infringing copies of your work, please let us know with specific identification of each copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; A description of where the material believed to be infringed is located on the Website (please be as detailed as possible and provide a URL to help us locate the material you are reporting); Contact information for the complaining party, such as a complete name, address, telephone number, and email address; A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the work(s) in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

8. Technology limitations and modifications
RLYC will make reasonable efforts to keep the Website operational. However, certain technical difficulties or maintenance may, from time to time, result in temporary interruptions. RLYC reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, functions and features of the Website with or without notice.

9. This agreement
This agreement is non-transferable. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Although the language used in this agreement is simple, the intentions are serious and this agreement is a legal document under exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
